Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager- Surge Team to lead deployment of Campbell Way of Working across sites, driving lean improvements and capability building. The role blends hands-on execution with coaching, using data-driven problem solving to identify losses and sustain gains.

You will partner with operations, maintenance, quality, safety, logistics, and HR to translate standards into practical routines, track progress against metrics, and influence teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, distribution, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support OE deployment and standard work at sites.
• Facilitate site action plans and improvement roadmaps.
• Translate standards into practical routines, tools, templates, and best practices.
• Partner with site teams to sustain gains through governance, standard work, and performance tracking.
• Apply lean manufacturing, TPM, focused improvement, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and loss elimination methods.
• Use data analysis, shop-floor observations, and operational diagnostics to identify opportunities.
• Facilitate kaizen events, rapid improvement activities, and structured problem-solving sessions.
• Track benefits, monitor performance indicators, elevate risks, and support countermeasures to sustain results.
• Deliver training, coaching, and on-the-floor support that builds capability across teams.
• Reinforce standard work and daily management routines to sustain improvements.
