Education includes graduation from an OR technique program or vocational nursing; certification readiness is noted. Prior OR experience is preferred, with BLS and licensure considerations as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Operating Room Technique program or a school of vocational nursing.
• Prior OR experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Perioperative team in data collection for planned surgical interventions.
• Aids in planning and organizing care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Supports implementation of the plan of care and evaluates patient progress.
• Maintains sterile technique and adherence to infection prevention protocols.
