Job summary

Covenant Health, Covenant Children's Hospital, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, you will maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during procedures, and ensure aseptic technique to prevent contamination.

You will support circulating duties, work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to patient-focused care built on respect and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operating room sterile field and passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.
• Assists the Registered Nurse Circulator and ensures aseptic technique to prevent contamination and infection.
