Job summary

Providence Covenant Children's Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room under RN Circulator supervision. You will maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, sutures, and sponges, and uphold aseptic technique to prevent infection.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - NBSTSA upon hire, or
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified - NCCT upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain the sterile field and pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.
• Insure aseptic technique is used to prevent contamination and infection.
• Assist the Registered Nurse Circulator with circulating duties.

Education

Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program

National Certified Surgical Technologist NBSTSA

National Tech in Surgery Certified NCCT

National Provider BLS AHA
