NYU Langone Florida is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the West Palm Beach OR on the day shift (37.5 hours). Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will scrub on all surgical procedures in the operating room and assist physicians in procedural areas.

Responsibilities include preparing supplies, maintaining instruments, and supporting the team with patient care standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma, NBSTSA certification, and BLS certification.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of NBSTSA Surgical Technologist program; certification required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.

Mansioni

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the OR under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Assist the physician in procedural areas.
• Anticipate and gather needed supplies and equipment before care; escalate needs to the RN Circulator.
• Maintain knowledge of instrument use, care, and maintenance.
