NYU Langone Florida in West Palm Beach is hiring a Surgical Technologist for the OR on the Day Shift (37.5 hours). Under the direction of a licensed nurse, scrub on procedures and assist physicians, ensuring instrument handling, accuracy of counts, and aseptic technique.

The role requires NBSTSA certification, BLS, and a high school diploma. Sign-on bonus of $6,000 is available to eligible new hires; comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Graduate of NBSTSA-accredited Surgical Technologist program; certification required.
• Associate Degree credential preferred (optional).

Mansioni

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the OR and assist the physician.
• Prepare and arrange instruments and supplies based on procedure cards.
• Assist as a secondary circulator under RN supervision.
• Report events to RN staff promptly and participate in safety and quality initiatives.
