Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an OR Assistant to join the care delivery team across Pre-op, OR, PACU, EP Lab, and Hybrid OR.

You will support the surgical team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing delegated patient care and assisting with turnover and sterile supplies. The role requires attending to patient transport and safeguarding anxious or unstable patients during procedures.

Formación

• Certified nursing assistant (CNA) or related healthcare experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Set up oxygen delivery and vital sign monitoring for patient care during transport.
• Transport patients using appropriate carts or beds between departments.
• Verify patient location with inpatient unit/floor before transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and OR rooms.
• Prepare requisitions for housekeeping, maintenance, and supplies with adequate par levels.
• Assist with turnover between procedures and maintain sterile technique as directed by RN/Technologist.
• Assist RN with patient positioning and surgical prep.
• Interpret schedule board for room starts, turnover, and transportation needs.
