Job summary

• Assists nursing with lifting, rolling, moving, and transferring patients; aids in sterile prepping the surgery site.
• Transports specimens to the laboratory and runs unit errands to/from ancillary units.
• Restocks supplies, cleans and maintains sterile core areas, equipment storage, and carts.
• Operates or assists with cleaning and sterilization equipment; maintains clean and orderly OR suites between cases.
