Yale New Haven Health is seeking an Operating Room Associate II to support perioperative services. You will assist with cleaning, stocking, and maintaining basic supplies in the OR, and help with post mortem care, patient positioning, and transport as required.

You will maintain equipment inventory, participate in training, and take on QA duties to improve service quality while upholding hospital standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and hospital safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assist with surgical room cleaning, stocking and basic supply maintenance.
• Support post- mortem care, patient positioning, and transport as needed.
• Maintain par levels of medical-surgical equipment and inventory control.
• Act as a liaison between OR teams and supervisors; participate in training.
• Perform quality assurance tasks and ensure compliance with standards.
