Job summary

FlexStaff is seeking an Operating Room Assistant to support patient care delivery in the OR on a temporary basis. You will transport patients, assist with positioning for surgery, and maintain a clean and ready operating room environment, including equipment prep and sterilization processes.

The role requires at least a High School Diploma and roughly 1 year of related experience, with preference for those who can read and speak conversational English.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and 1 year of related experience.
• Reading and speaking conversational English desired.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the operating room, ensuring safety.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and sterile prepping the site.
• Maintains and cleans OR equipment and rooms between cases.
• Restocks supplies and handles routine cleaning and disposal tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
