Job summary

ProHealth Care is seeking an Operating Room Assistant to join the surgical team under the supervision of a Registered Peri-Operative Nurse. You will assist with cleaning, case cart prep, errands, and patient transport to support efficient room turnover.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and a current BLS card, with prior OR support or nursing assistant training preferred to enhance performance on the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS through American Heart Association or ability to obtain on hire.
• Prior operating room support/ nursing assistant training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in general department cleaning and case cart preparation.
• Help transport patients and support room turnover during procedures.
• Provide miscellaneous support to surgical team as directed.
