In this entry-level role, you will assist nursing staff, transport patients, and help maintain sterile technique during procedures. During a one-year orientation, you will gain knowledge of sterile techniques, locate equipment and supplies, and ensure accurate par levels while providing reliable support to the patient care team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Entry level with one-year orientation in OR support.
• Ability to learn sterile techniques during orientation and perform equipment location accurately.
• Proficient in locating instruments and supplies for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate needs of the operative schedule and assist accordingly.
• Provide physical assistance to nursing staff and transport patients.
• Perform cleaning tasks to maintain OR sanitary conditions.
• Maintain inventory and control of medical-surgical equipment.
• Complete online mandatory continuing education and ensure PPD current.
