Mercy Health's West Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional perioperative care. You will use strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and support the surgical team.

You will provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care, develop and execute patient care plans, and maintain a safe environment. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and adherence to standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are preferred at hire and may be required within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and surgical team from a broad perspective and assist to create a safe environment.
• Responsible for managing the nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinating needs of the surgical team with other care providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, including assessment and discharge instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
