Mercy Health in Tiffin is seeking an Operating Room RN to deliver exceptional perioperative care. You will collaborate with the surgical team, assess patient status, and implement intraoperative interventions to ensure safety and positive outcomes.

This role requires an accredited nursing degree and active RN licensure, with BLS; ACLS/PALS and CNOR are preferred. You will provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
• CNOR and SGNA preferred but not required.
• Two years of RN experience in a clinical or perioperative setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Observe the surgery and surgical team from a broad perspective and assist the team to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the patient
• Responsible for managing the nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinating the needs of the surgical team with other care providers
• Provides pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, including assessment and discharge instructions
• Other duties as assigned
