Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS and ACLS or PALS certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire; CNOR and SGNA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Assess patient status and determine priorities.
• Implement clinical interventions for acute, critical patients.
• Develop and execute patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Observe the surgical procedure and assist to maintain a safe environment.
