Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver expert perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical department. The role requires strong organizational skills, clinical assessment, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have an OR/critical care background, valid RN licensure (BLS/ACLS preferred), and a commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• RN with critical care background
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN)
• Strong organizational and leadership skills in the OR environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Observe the surgical team and maintain a safe environment
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the team
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions
• Other duties as assigned
