Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at Anderson Hospital in Ohio. The RN in OR provides pre-op, intra-op and post-op care, collaborates with the surgical team and other care providers to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role requires a nursing degree (associates or bachelor's) and current RN licensure.

ACLS/PALS potentially required; CNOR preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care Department (preferred, not required)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications as applicable (perive surgical department requirements)
• CNOR certification (preferred, not required)
• SGNA certification (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Observe the surgery and surgical team and assist to create a safe and comfortable environment
• Manage nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinate needs with other care providers
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, including assessment and discharge instructions
• Other duties as assigned
