Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Operating Room in New Jersey. The role requires an active NJ RN license or compact license with NJ endorsement and BLS. Day shift, 37.5 hours weekly, with on-call and holiday rotation on a full-time basis.

The RN will deliver nursing care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure safety and compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethical standards. Experience in OR settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN or Nursing Diploma.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Successful completion of orientation programs and competency with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members; collaborate with patient care providers.
