Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Operating Room in Newark, NJ. The position is full time with a day shift (37.5 hours) and on-call requirements. Active NJ RN license or compact license with NJ endorsement is required, plus BLS certification.

The hospital emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork in a quaternary care setting. Preferred BSN and at least 1 year of hospital experience. Salary is hourly with a range reflective of New Jersey market for RN roles in operating

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Successful completion of Orientation Programs and competency with documentation required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice and adheres to regulatory standards.
