Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking an OR Registered Nurse for day shifts on a full-time schedule. The RN will provide high-quality perioperative care, document thoroughly, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The role requires active NJ RN license (compact accepted with NJ endorsement) and at least 1 year of hospital experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required; NJ RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Supervise delegation of tasks to team members and collaborate with care providers.
• Maintain patient safety, document accurately, and communicate care plans.
