Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center (Clements University Hospital) seeks an experienced RN to oversee patient care on the unit, with a focus on OR services. You will supervise staff, perform rounds, and ensure safe, efficient care delivery in a high-volume environment.

The position requires a BSN, 3 years of RN experience, Texas RN license or NLC compact, and BLS certification. Preferred CNOR and OR leadership experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (BSN required).
• 3 years RN experience; OR-specific experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate patient care 24/7 on the unit.
• Conduct daily rounds and mentor nursing staff.
• Coordinate staffing and ensure safe delivery of care.
• Promote patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead routine and special patient care conferences and reports.
