Job summary

St. Thomas Surgery Center Clarksville is hiring a Clinical Manager to oversee day-to-day operating room operations, drive process improvements and collaborate with the Administrator on policies and staff performance.

The role requires pre- and post-op surgical experience, an active RN license, and strong budgeting and risk management skills. The position is on-site with no weekend, call or holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN license REQUIRED.
• Proven experience as a clinical manager or other managerial position.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center is ideal.
• Operating room RN experience required.
• PACU experience preferred.
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management.
• Budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures understood.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the operating room.
• Collaborate with Administrator to promote fiscal accountability and policies.
• Evaluate staff performance and credentialing; manage risk and safety.
• Use clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and outcomes.
