Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer (Union) to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of MEP systems at a New York property. The role requires 5+ years of related trade experience and appropriate licenses.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of related trade experience operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in a commercial property.
- Licensed trades as required by local codes (Journeyman/Master Electrician)
- EPA 608 Universal certification for refrigerants
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Basic computing skills: Outlook, Excel & Word
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for assigned properties.
- Supervise maintenance staff and assign/monitor tasks.
- Perform preventive maintenance: replace lamps, change filters, lubricate motors, inspect belts and bearings.
- Coordinate with contractors and technicians; manage stock and inventory.
- Respond to emergencies and ensure safety compliance; report to management monthly.
