Job summary

Experis is seeking an Operating Engineer 3 for a leading facilities management company in Minneapolis, MN. You will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in a high-rise or data center environment.

The role requires 3+ years with a degree or 5+ years in similar settings, strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Competitive pay: $30.00-$36.00/hour, with potential for permanent employment and second shift opportunities.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with a degree OR 5+ years of experience in a high-rise building and/or data center environment.
Strong experience troubleshooting HVAC and electrical systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
Experience performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and work order management.
EPA 608 or EPA 609 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders on building systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
Operate and monitor building equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.
Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and operational records.
Support building automation systems while collaborating with maintenance and operations teams.
