Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Operating Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of critical building systems within a Class A facility. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and automation/control systems to ensure facility reliability and uptime.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical and electrical backgrounds, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. Shift: 2pm-10:30pm, Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED plus 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with preventative maintenance on cooling & heating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting experience within automation/controls.
• Experience with electrical systems and voltage.
• Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Tech school certificates welcomed.
• Background in Class A high facility center preferred.
• HVAC experience with generator awareness.
• Familiarity with monitoring medium-voltage electrical systems (13,800V).

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking an Operating Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of critical building systems within a Class A facility. This individual will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and automation/control systems, and respond to equipment issues to ensure facility reliability and uptime. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, experience working with building systems, and the ability to identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: 2pm-10:30pm, must be able to work Saturdays if needed

Compensation:

$28-$31/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
