Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking an Operating Director to lead this branch’s growth, supported by a national network of Directors. The role emphasizes business development, client relations, and staff leadership in a growing in-home care company.

The ideal candidate will drive marketing, referral partnerships, staffing, and financial oversight while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing a team.
• Successful track record meeting sales and business development goals.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter attitude.
• Experience with direct recruitment, hiring, and oversight of staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and lead the branch, with ongoing corporate training and support.
• Business development: develop and execute a marketing plan to establish Cornerstone as the preferred in-home care provider.
• Referral building: cultivate and manage relationships with referral partners (hospitals, hospices, senior living, etc.).
• Staffing and scheduling: hire and onboard new team members and ensure all shifts are properly staffed.
• In-home assessments: build strong client relationships, conduct intakes, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Financial management: oversee office budget reflected in profit and loss statements.
• Culture cultivation: create a workplace of choice, incentivize, motivate, and set team morale tone.
