EBway LLC in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks an experienced Metal Stamping Press Setup Operator / Die Setter. This on-site, full-time role requires setting up stamping presses, installing dies, and managing coil feeding with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with hydraulic/mechanical presses, tool changes, and accurate measurement. Training and development are provided; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating and setting up metal stamping presses.
• Proven ability to perform complete die changes and press setups with limited supervision.
• Experience with hydraulic or mechanical stamping presses and coil feeders.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and setup documentation.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Stamping Press Setup and Die Installation: independently perform complete setups and changeovers; install and align dies; verify die alignment and clearances.
• Coil Feeding and Material Handling: load and position coils; adjust coil feeders and guides; ensure proper material feeding.
• Press Programming and Parameter Adjustment: configure tonnage and stop positions; set safety parameters; fine-tune machine settings.
• Quality Control and Inspection: produce first-piece samples; inspect against drawings; document results and adjust processes.
• Troubleshooting and Process Improvement: diagnose issues; reduce scrap; propose setup improvements; minimize downtime.
• Production Operation and Documentation: run presses safely; maintain production records and tool storage; communicate with teams.
