Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Open Pit Maintenance Planner for Cortez operations. This role focuses on planning and scheduling maintenance work, keeping backlogs accurate, generating PMs, and coordinating with maintenance, operations, purchasing and vendors.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3–5 years of mobile equipment maintenance/planning, experience with Xeras, Discovery and Oracle eAM, strong communication and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of mobile equipment mechanic experience (preferred).
• Previous maintenance planning experience, Xeras and Discovery knowledge (preferred).
• Two (2) years of Oracle eAM (CMMS) or equipment experience (preferred).
• Three (3) years of mobile maintenance planning experience preferred.
• Sound understanding of maintenance safety and environmental requirements (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work.
• Maintain an accurate backlog and coordinate with supervisors and other planners.
• Generate PMs.
• Develop task and material lists, building activities and review stock level requirements.
• Develop cost and equipment reports.
• Resolve labor and material sources.
• Communicate/coordinate with maintenance, operations, purchasing, warehouse staff and vendors.
