Nevada Gold Mines, a major mining employer at Cortez, seeks an Open Pit Maintenance Planner to lead planning and scheduling for maintenance activities. The role requires coordinating with maintenance, operations, purchasing, and vendors to ensure work is executed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of mobile equipment mechanic experience.
• Previous maintenance planning experience required.
• Xeras and Discovery knowledge preferred.
• Two (2) years of Oracle eAM experience preferred.
• Three (3) years of mobile maintenance planning experience preferred.
• Strong communication and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work.
• Maintain an accurate backlog and coordinate with supervisors and planners.
• Generate PMs and develop task/material lists.
• Review stock levels and forecast parts and materials.
• Develop cost and equipment reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, purchasing, warehouse, and vendors.
