Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines seeks an experienced Pre-PM Maintenance Inspector for Cortez Open Pit operations. You will inspect drilling, loading, and hauling equipment, feed planned work orders, and support reliability goals to sustain production.

The role interfaces with predictive maintenance, planning, and supervision in a fast-paced limestone environment. The position requires strong mechanical knowledge, hydraulic/pneumatic expertise, and the ability to work safely under varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Eight plus years of experience in maintenance of heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Record maintenance activities using SAP and follow data standards.
• Execute planned inspections and identify defects for maintenance work.
• Create work orders and verify equipment condition before issuance.
• Generate notifications for additional work and provide improvement feedback.
• Ensure hydrocarbon and environmental compliance in maintenance tasks.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and support safety and production goals.
