Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Partner Development Manager to drive our open banking partnership strategy with top financial institutions in the US. You will own end-to-end deal strategy—from sourcing to negotiation and launch—building a scalable, cross-functional program across North America.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, legal, finance, and risk teams, negotiating complex agreements while cultivating long-term executive relationships to grow Stripe's Financial Connections footprint.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development or related field.
• Experience negotiating commercial deals with financial institutions.
• Exceptional communication skills at executive levels.
• Technical acumen to translate product strategy into scalable partnerships.
• Experience developing partnership strategies and sourcing new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of partnership opportunities with financial institutions, from outreach to launch and growth.
• Guide internal stakeholders (product, risk, compliance, eng, legal) through evolving regulatory landscapes.
• Identify and analyze new partnership opportunities and make recommendations to decision makers.
• Negotiate strategic partnership agreements with banks and credit unions, handling complex requirements.
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key financial institutions.
• Lead teams through partnership initiatives with a clear vision and tight processes.
