University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a full-time OP Nurse Coordinator I to join their team at Pediatric Primary Care office in Oakland.
Hours: Monday through Friday, primarily daylight hours. No weekends or holidays!
Location: 3420 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213
Position Specifics: This position will assist the nurse manager with administrative duties such as scheduling, daily assignments, medication orders, inventory management, etc. It may involve stepping into patient care and functioning as a unit charge nurse when needed. The role includes collaboration with the nurse manager, clinic director, and director of operations on various projects to improve clinic operations, vaccine oversight, medication and supply ordering, staff training, and participation in weekly clinical/management meetings.
Department Details: The Oakland Primary Care Center is part of the General Academic Pediatrics division within University of Pittsburgh Physicians. It operates a primary care clinic, a newborn clinic, and a walk-in clinic, staffed by over 30 providers, nurses, medical assistants, dental services, behavior therapy, WIC, and more. Our team provides comprehensive pediatric care and is experiencing growth.
