Job summary

PermitFlow, an applied AI company redefining how America builds, seeks a Permitting Lead based in Ontario or willing to relocate. You will guide customers through end-to-end permit processes, coach a growing team, and coordinate with AHJs to ensure timely, compliant submissions.

You will leverage data to improve conversations, drive adoption of new features, and maintain strong client relationships across projects in construction, permitting, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction permitting and project management.
• Experience with residential or commercial permitting in Quebec.
• Ability to lead, manage cross-functional teams and coach others.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for customers, informing on permit status, timelines, and requirements.
• Provide training and coaching to junior team members; oversee their work.
• Oversee end-to-end permit applications lifecycle, including researching requirements and submitting forms.
• Generate detailed reports on permit progress for customers and stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure permit applications are complete, accurate, and compliant with standards.
• Monitor permit statuses and expedite approvals with authorities.
