Job summary

PermitFlow is redefining how America builds and provides AI-driven support for permitting, licensing, inspections, and project closeouts. This role focuses on guiding customers through the permit lifecycle, building strong relationships, and driving efficient workflows in a fast-growing, tech-enabled environment.

You will manage end-to-end permit processes, train team members, and produce clear progress reports while ensuring compliance with jurisdictional standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in construction permitting, project management, or similar roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of permitting across the Midwest with emphasis on Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa and Wisconsin.
• Established municipal relationships and ability to escalate regionally.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Leadership experience in team development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer resource, communicating permit status, timelines, and requirements.
• Train and coach junior team members, providing direction and conducting 1:1s.
• Oversee end-to-end permit applications, including researching requirements and submitting to authorities.
• Generate reports on permit progress and provide updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements to streamline workflows and ensure compliance.
• Monitor permit statuses and expedite approvals with authorities.
