Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in construction permitting or project management.
• Hands-on knowledge of the permitting landscape across the Midwest, esp. Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
• Established municipal relationships with inspectors and municipalities.
• Leadership experience: 2+ years leading and mentoring teams.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary customer contact and keep clients informed on permit status, timelines, and requirements.
• Train and mentor junior team members; provide coaching and direction.
• Oversee end-to-end permit process: research requirements, prepare forms, gather docs, submit applications.
• Generate detailed progress reports for customers and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to speed workflows.
• Ensure all applications are complete, accurate, and compliant.
• Monitor permit statuses and expedite approvals with authorities.
