Job summary

PermitFlow, based in New York City, is hiring a Product Lead to define what we build next, reporting to Head of Product. This high-ownership role spans product development and commercial strategy.

You will own permitting-driven products, drive cross-functional initiatives with GTM, Operations, and Business Ops, and shape pricing, market sizing, and delivery. The position offers equity, strong growth, and a path to leading a product org.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of product experience or founder/GM track record.
• Proven ability to drive a product from zero to revenue in startup/high-growth.
• Experience moving into new markets with pricing and packaging.
• Fluency with long buying cycles and formal procurement processes.
• Comfort with a services-heavy delivery model and close engineering collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Take core permitting and inspections products into a key new market with pricing plans.
• Define markets to enter next and frameworks for sizing and testing bets.
• Design and validate the next products from hypothesis to launch, pilot and commercial release.
• Lead cross-functional work streams across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Operations.
• Own launch readiness, including positioning, sales narrative, and support model.
• Ensure cross-functional partners deliver new products at high quality with SOPs.
• Set the standard for product craft as the first product lead and aid hiring.
• Evaluate when a dedicated PM team is warranted and build it accordingly.
