Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Projects Workers Compensation Claims Administrator for the Thacker Pass Project in Winnemucca, NV. The role is fully onsite and entails managing all aspects of the workers compensation program under Bechtel guidance, including auto and insured claims.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years in the field, strong knowledge of WC processes, and the ability to coordinate with insurers, medical providers, and internal teams. Expected hours are Mon-Sat, 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree or at least 3 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Extensive knowledge of workers compensation and occupational rehabilitation procedures.
• Experience with claims resolution techniques and related litigation processes.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with injured workers, medical professionals, insurers, brokers, and regulators.
• Maintains project-specific workers compensation claims manual and compliance with provider panels.
• Provides onsite training and monitors claims activity for trends or issues.
• Oversees and processes workers compensation claims, prepares documentation, and discusses settlement strategies with insurers.
• Coordinates and supports early return to work and relationships with medical providers.
