A leading defense technology company is seeking motivated candidates for Mechanical Work Control support in Newport News, Virginia. This role requires providing technical support, maintaining technical data, and producing engineering documentation. Ideal candidates will have an AA degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of ship mechanical systems, and an active DOD SECRET security clearance. This is a fully on-site role. Qualifications

• AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline.
• Knowledge and experience with Work Authorization Forms.
• Hands-on experience with ship mechanical and electrical systems.
• Active DOD SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineers on various technical tasks.
• Maintain and manipulate technical data.
• Produce engineering documentation and reports.
• Conduct tests and assist with engineering evaluation.

Skills

Knowledge of Work Authorization Forms

Experience with ship mechanical systems

Ability to read and interpret system drawings

Teamwork skills

Education
