The Wind Technician role at GE Vernova requires local travel within the hub to maintain turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repairs. You will partner with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines, aligning with GE standards.

Candidates need a High School diploma or GED, wind technician experience or wind energy certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, climb towers up to 300 feet, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of wind turbine parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate with GE remote operations center as needed.
