Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Wind Technician to operate and maintain the Forward Wind Energy Center in Brownsville, Wisconsin. The role requires climbing towers, performing routine maintenance on GE turbines, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues.

You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, pass safety requirements, and be available for a 40-hour week with overtime during peak periods. Base pay is hourly with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• One year of technical experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbine and related equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily, using safety equipment, to inspect, maintain or repair components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair or replace components as needed.
• Maintain tooling, facilities and a safe, clean work environment.
• Work a 40 hour week with possible overtime; schedule may vary during peak periods.
