Invenergy is seeking a Wind Technician for an on-site role at the Forward Wind Energy Center in Brownsville, WI. You will operate and maintain GE wind turbines, perform routine repairs, and support safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Climb wind turbine towers and ladders daily.
• Understand mechanical and electrical components of wind turbines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbine and equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily with safety gear.
• Troubleshoot faults and replace components as needed.
• Maintain tooling, facilities and a clean, safe work environment.
• Work 40 hours with overtime during peak maintenance.
