Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Bench Assembly Cell Operator for the weekend shift, onsite at Wells, ME. The role involves building and disassembling gas turbine engine modules following precise work instructions and recording build data. Training and advancement opportunities exist within a supportive environment.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience. Flexibility for shifts and potential travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and / or disassemble a variety of new technology production gas turbine engine modules, subassemblies and accessories.
• Follow specified work instructions including assembly floor specifications, computer generated work instructions, assembly drawings and work orders to assure compliance with requirements.
• Properly complete all necessary build records and other required documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives as well as any other duties deemed necessary by supervision.
• This is an amazing opportunity as a Bench Assembly Cell Operator, weekend shift (On site). Friday-Sunday ( 3 x 12) 5:00am to 5:30pm.
