Job summary

Golden Star Technology Inc. (GST) seeks a Desk Side Support Technician to deliver on-site IT support for end-users and warehouse operations in Hebron, KY. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software, provisioning user accounts, and supporting warehouse devices and printers.

The role requires strong customer service, Windows expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with occasional IMAC tasks and asset management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desk-side or desktop support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows OS, hardware, software and peripherals.
• Experience with printers/scanners and end-user devices.
• Basic networking and telephony concepts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site desk‑side support for hardware, software and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer and scanner issues.
• Create and manage user accounts and access requests.
• Deploy workstation builds and perform imaging/re-imaging as needed.
• Configure devices prior to deployment and maintain asset inventory.
• Support warehouse tech and systems, incl. Pick-to-Light/Print-and-Apply (training provided).
• Handle IMAC services for desktops and laptops.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher‑level teams as needed.
• Provide Tier 1 network/telephony support and document activities.
