Cabinetworks Group in Ohio is seeking an IT Support Technician to ensure operational readiness of client computing devices and peripherals. You will install, test, maintain, support, and troubleshoot hardware and software for manufacturing and office environments.

You will assist server admins and network engineers, document requests, and help with ERP and data center tasks. This role requires on-call rotation and the ability to lift 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Information Systems or 2 years IT experience.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Logical problem solving ability.
• Willingness to learn and grow in skill and competency.
• Knowledge of Windows, MS Office, Internet browsers, line matrix, thermal transfer, and laser printing; LAN/WAN/WLAN.
• Ability to work in a team or solo.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• On-call rotation willingness.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and work on lift equipment.
• Exposure to OS (Linux, AIX), ERP systems, SQL, JAVA, CITRIX, Cisco routing/switching, antivirus tools, data center security, backups.

Responsabilités

• Build rapport with customers and technical resources for effective problem descriptions.
• Document, prioritize, and resolve user requests using a tracking tool.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with provided tools.
• Manage replacement equipment and software inventories responsibly.
• Dispose of obsolete materials properly.
• Perform preventive maintenance for in-service equipment and software.
• Assist in recommending solutions and improvements to customer processes.
• Support system implementations and upgrades with admins/engineers.
• Coordinate with external resources and contractors.
• Assist in administering specialized software requirements and client data.
• Assist in antivirus remediation and rollover support for CSD.
