Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring a part-time Ultrasound Technologist for Nashoba Valley on-site in Groton, MA. The position supports radiology in inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of a radiologist.

The schedule is 24 hours per week (11a–7:30p) with a mix of days and every fourth weekend. Requirements include ARDMS within 1 year, graduation from an accredited ultrasonography or radiologic technology program, and at least 1 year of diagnostic ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography or radiologic technology program.
• ARDMS registration within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic ultrasound experience under physician supervision.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound techniques and exams per department standards.
• Gather clinical data and maintain patient records.
• Submit exams to PACS for radiologist review.
• Assist radiologists with interventional procedures.
• Ensure proper sterilization and equipment care.
