Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time, day shift at Southbridge, MA. You will perform ultrasound scans, document findings, and support radiologists in image interpretation.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image optimization, equipment QA, and contributing to quality improvement. On-site work with a focus on patient safety and professional standards, with potential signing bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registrant or registry eligible by the ARDMS; if not registered, must obtain registration in at least 1: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular or Breast within one year of hire date.
• BLS certification required within 90 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records patient clinical information and history; adjusts imaging procedures for patient size, age, or condition.
• Positions patients and ensures modesty and safety; selects appropriate scan parameters.
• Processes and records scanned images per Radiologist protocol; reviews scans with Radiologists as requested.

Education
