Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for Nashoba Valley in Marlborough, MA. The role provides direct patient ultrasound services under supervision and contributes to high-quality imaging and patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited ultrasonography or radiologic program, ARDMS registration within one year, and a minimum of one year of diagnostic ultrasound experience. Travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography or Radiological Technology program.
• ARDMS registration in one category within one year of hire date.
• Minimum one year of diagnostic ultrasound experience under physician supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Submit completed exams to PACS for radiologist review.
• Assist with interventional ultrasound procedures as directed.
• Ensure equipment readiness and proper sterilization of probes.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton campus as needed.
