Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in both in-patient and out-patient settings. You will gather clinical data, document findings, and assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures across Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton campuses.

The role requires ARDMS certification within one year, a graduated ultrasound or radiologic technology program, and at least one year of ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography or radiologic technology program.
• ARDMS registration in one category within one year of hire date.
• Minimum one year of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs ultrasound examinations in accordance with department policies and pediatric/adult patient needs.
• Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete all paperwork and billing promptly.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided procedures and interventional exams.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton campus as scheduled for support.
