Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an Operations Training Specialist in Wickliffe, OH. The role coordinates onboarding and training for plant floor personnel, focusing on production equipment operation, safety practices, and quality policies.

You will work with SMEs to develop training components and manage records and assessments. Requirements include a technical bachelor's degree preference and 4+ years in manufacturing with prior training experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a technical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably high speed manufacturing.
• Previous experience training employees.

Responsibilities

• Leads and assists in developing training program components and/or methods of training.
• Supports onboarding, leading classroom and on-the-job training with SMEs.
• Administers training records and tracks progress to stakeholders.
• Evaluates employee proficiency by administering assessments.
• Coordinates and schedules training with plant resources.
• Accesses LMS and plant computer systems data as needed.
• Maintains effective relationships and handles stress to ensure a productive work environment.
• Works flexible hours to train off-shifts as needed.
• Champions continuous improvement of plant technical training effectiveness.
