Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Training Specialist to coordinate onboarding and classroom/on-the-job training for plant floor personnel, focusing on safe operation of production equipment and adherence to quality policies.

The role requires collaboration with SMEs, maintenance of training records, use of LMS, and the ability to work flexible hours to cover off shifts, driving continuous improvement in training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to effectively train plant floor employees on safe and effective operations of plant production equipment and processes, utilizing adult learning techniques and constructively delivers feedback on training progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop training program components and methods of training; lead onboarding and coordinate with SMEs.
• Administer training records and track progress; report to trainees, supervisors and stakeholders.
• Evaluate employee proficiency by administering applicable assessments.
• Coordinate and schedule training with plant resources and LMS.
• Access, input and export information from LMS and plant computer systems.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships; handle stress; foster positive environment.
• Work flexible hours to provide training to off shifts as needed.
• Champion continuous improvement of plant training effectiveness.
